Jiaxiang Kelunpu Heavy Machinery Co has contracted CISDI Equipment Co to supply a pickling line and tandem cold rolling mill.

The Shandong Province-based company requires PL-TCM mechanical, electrical and hydraulic package equipment with a 6-hi, 6-stand mill train and a maximum width of 1,380mm.

CISDI will be incorporating a number of its advanced solutions - the critical wide 6-hi, 6-stand tandem cold rolling mill, the servo energy conservation system, highly-efficient turbulent flow pickling tech and equipment, the dual-way controlled looper and innovative dual-drum coiler.

A rolling peak speed of 1,400 metres per minute will be achieved and product thickness will range from 0.16-4.0mm.

The high-standard PL-TCM is designed to produce 1.20 million tonnes a year.

Kelunpu’s final products from the PL-TCM and downstream procedures will be precision pickled, cold-rolled and annealed coils, tin and chrome-plated coils, and ZnAlMg-plated coils with hot and cold-rolled strip as feedstock.
