CISDI is rebuilding two continuous galvanising lines at Pangang Vanadium Plate Co in China’s Sichuan Province.
The plant’s number 2 and 3 lines had been operating for nearly 20 years and were not able to meet normal reheating and emission requirements. Their equipment needed upgrading to boost the plant’s competitiveness by improving product quality and production capacity.
CISDI has rebuilt the annealing furnace’s combustion and its internal steering systems, relined its heating zone and added a furnace reheating model system. The furnace has now dried off successfully.
CISDI Thermal and Environmental Engineering Co’s patented impulse combustion system and process model-based control tech solutions have substantially enhanced the furnace’s reheating capacity and will support Pangang’s quest for greater production range at the two lines.
CISDI team have been onsite since August. Their presence has ensured a smooth dry-off and hit the contractual milestone earlier than anticipated.
A spokesperson for Pangang has praised the furnace’s construction quality and performance.
