CISDI to build its new control centre
platform
CISDI is to build Phase I of a smart control centre at Laiwu Steel in China’s Shandong Province.
Decision-making, commanding, scheduling and operation of the plant’s various specialties and businesses will be controlled in a smart, centralised way.
CISDI Information Tech Co will build the centre’s smart energy integrated control platform, which will collaborate with the plant’s ongoing smart upgrading to achieve centralised, super-efficient control of all energy media and the full production process.
Laiwu operates under Shandong Steel. Its centre will govern all industrial internet plus carbon management settings while comprehensively enhancing the energy system’s smart index.
Highlighting the importance of carbon management in greener, low carbon developments, Laiwu Steel has long ranked as one of China’s most energy-efficient steel companies.
CISDI Information Tech’s platform and applications are intelligently reducing carbon emissions, saving energy and increasing cost performance, supporting the global steel industry’s green goals.
