CISDI’s high-speed bar rolling mills have produced their first bar at Sichuan Metallurgical Group’s Chengdu Metallurgical Pilot Plant.

The bar has met national quality standards. It rolled smoothly through the cooling bed of a combined high-speed bar and wire-rod rolling line B, one of two supplied by CISDI.

The combined bar and wire-rod rolling lines operate with independently-driven modular mills.

Two quality bar rolling lines also supplied by CISDI operate with super thermal mechanical control processes.

Line B features a number of critical technologies - direct rolling, high-speed rolling and TMCP. 

CISDI’s standardised, high-quality NHCD short-stress path rolling mills have been installed at its roughing mill area.

Its high-speed rolling area is now a super-performer thanks to CISDI’s CDMC/IDMC high-speed modular mills and a jointly-manufactured high-speed delivery system. Each line’s TMCP is supported by CISDI’s precise temperature controllers.
