CISDI helping to carry the load at Yongyang Special Steel

CISDI Equipment Co. is to supply trains for a light rail rolling line at Yongyang Special Steel in the Hebei province.

The rolling line is the first of its kind in China, producing light rails with a Breakdown Mill 1 and 2 and Universal Mill 1-7 configuration.

Yongyang Special Steel produces 90 per cent of China’s light rails, elevator rails and tracks.

CISDI’s universal mill stand has four rolls and housing. Series UMCD1000, UMCD600, UMCD450 and UMCD300 have been developed. They are equipped with an enclosed housing and feature automatic roll gap control and fast roll-change functions.

All the UMCDs can be fully automatically controlled and give a high rolling precision and a long service life of roll and bearing. They are easy to operate and maintain and can be used for H section, rail, I beam, channel, angle, sheet pile and flat bulb production lines.
